Family Registration

This past year over 3,500 children, infant through age 15, were given toys worth over $40,000. Volunteers helped families look for toys that would be special to each child. Many organizations volunteer including school counselors, students, the R.S.V.P. (Retired Seniors Volunteer Program), retired AT&T employees, Abbott Laboratories/Abbvie employees as well as other community service groups.

Distribution to registered families begin with winter outer garments in late October. Food cards and toy distribution occurs in December closer to Christmas. Exact distribution days and times will be given to families when they register.

Quantities are limied to those who preregister. Registration requires all of the following: picture ID, proof of Kenosha County residency, social security card ot ITIN, children’s social security cards, names and social security cards for all individuals living at home and proof of income.

Holiday House is a consortium of community agencies that make food, toys and winter clothing available to Kenosha County’s disadvantaged families with children. Kenosha Christmas Charities, Inc. (Goodfellows) is the primary financial supporter of Holiday House.
